Dr. Lanik was born and raised in the Uniontown area. After graduating from Lake High School, he attended Kent State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. The next step in his educational journey was being accepted into The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Upon graduating with his Doctor of Dental Science degree, Dr. Lanik returned to the Uniontown area and established a private practice focusing on general dentistry.
Dr. Lanik is active as a member of the Akron Dental Society (ADS) as well as the Ohio Dental Association (ODA) and the American Dental Association (ADA). He has served as a council member on the ADS, as an alternate delegate with The Ohio Dental Association and on the ODA Membership Service council.
Dr. Lanik attends many hours of Continuing Education yearly, concentrating on the area of Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry. He currently maintains membership in The Seattle Study Club, a national organization of many of today’s premier lecturing dentists.
Outside of his office Dr. Lanik enjoys traveling with his wife, Kathy and spending time with their children and grandchildren. His hobbies include motorcycle riding, snow skiing, fly fishing, and golfing as well as other hobbies.
